Are you thinking about bringing more archeology and/or genetics (and/or archeogenetics) into the mix, bringing any of that evidence to bear? Not unlike what you have done with climate history and data in Wasteland article. Have seen it written that there are genetic clusters of modern DNA that correspond geographically to Rheged, Elmet, and Benicia but I have not come across anyone actually linking these genetic signatures to those Sub-Roman or Medieval kingdoms. Do those clusters bear any resemblance to those Romano-Brits or are they just modern phenomenon reflective of the apparent English propensity to get up and go, maybe no older than industrial revolution?

I believe where Rheged and Bernicia were there is high pre-Anglo admixture. I may at some point start working with that stuff, I touch on it once and a while, but it just hasn't been the a big part of my focus. May touch on papers and or evidence here and there directly in other articles.
